We Help Write Great Books
The era of solitary authors is long gone.
Modern authors collaborate with editors, consultants, researchers, beta readers — and professional writers.
We are Nataliia Tolmachova and Maksym Momot, writers who help authors create books in Ukrainian and Russian.
- We have been working since 2011.
- We were the first to publicly enter the market.
- We have extensive experience (over 50 books)
- We offer competitive prices.
- We guarantee the confidentiality of our clients' personal information.
Services
We help you write memoirs, business, non-fiction, and motivational books based on your original materials.
How we do it:
- We collect your material through interviews and from your existing records (notes, articles, blogs, lectures, podcasts), create a book concept, and edit the source text.
We preserve your style and tone of voice when editing your words and crafting the book's content. - If needed, we conduct additional research using open sources, develop your ideas and conclusions, and "package" your professional experience into a theory or practical methodology.
- Want to see how it works? Start by ordering an article about yourself, your work, or your business.
Learn more about our services on the "Services and Prices" page.
Advantages
- We work with texts of any length and complexity. Our portfolio includes both a small book for a broad audience with 35,000 words and a large, complex book for a niche audience with 240,000 words (that’s like three average-sized books combined).
- One service — one price. We view book writing assistance as a comprehensive service, so we don't charge separately for any part of the work (conducting interviews, transcribing audio, researching the topic, developing the concept).
- We have a specialization. Thanks to our experience in business and solid theoretical knowledge, we specialize in business books, memoirs of entrepreneurs, managers, and other professionals.
- We create our own brief. We don’t work with detailed technical specifications; instead, we usually fill out a creative brief ourselves after discussing your future book with you.
- We are committed to data protection. We never outsource any work on the book to other people or language models (AI).
- Confidentiality is possible. At the author’s request, we sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to ensure the confidentiality of our services.
- We avoid conflicts of interest. We don't take on multiple books on the same topic at the same time. (Non-Compete Agreement, NCA).
- All rights to the book belong to the author (the client).
Clients
We collaborate with entrepreneurs, managers, scientists, business consultants, and other professionals who write books in addition to their primary activities.
Clients usually come to us for three main reasons:
- Lack of time to work on the book. Writing a manuscript is labor-intensive and takes at least six months. To write independently, one would need to sacrifice sleep and rest or take a break from their career. When we take on the bulk of the work on the book, the author does not have to significantly step away from their main responsibilities.
- Fatigue with the topic. Some people spend years gathering material for a book: preparing and giving presentations of their services, writing articles and blogs about work cases, taking notes on various ideas and solutions. Eventually, they become tired of the topic and want someone else to look at their materials with fresh eyes and help create the book's text.
- Specifics of working with large texts. Many professionals maintain blogs, write columns, and articles, but a book is an entirely different format for presenting information. Even the smallest book is several times larger than a lengthy article. Working with such texts requires specific skills that experienced writers possess.
Books
A book allows the author to publicly assert themselves, showcase their expertise, become a thought leader, set trends, increase the value of their services, attract new clients, and share their experience with beginners.
Besides, a book is the best way to tell your story to future generations, create your intellectual legacy, and leave a mark on human history. Collaborating with an experienced writer is the easiest way to create an engaging, intelligent, and impactful book.
If busy people gave up the idea of writing a book, we wouldn’t have seen many important works. Henry Ford, Alfred Sloan, Winston Churchill, John Kennedy, Tom Peters, Barbara Sher, Bill Gates, Kevin Mitnick, Malala Yousafzai, Sheryl Sandberg, and many other well-known authors wrote their books in collaboration with hired writers.
With us, writing a book is easy because we take on the long and labor-intensive work.
Vocation
Why do we help write books?
Because it’s what we do best.
By nature, we are researchers: we love working with information, describing and explaining the world through stories and concepts. We have legal and economic education, experience in running our own business, we read a lot, and we learn from our clients. For instance, working on the book The Time of Ownership was like business school for us, and working on Gett. Service with Meaning became our school of service.
You can learn more about us and our writing careers on the "Timeline" page.
Portfolio
Together with authors, we have created over fifty books, but we can't showcase them all because, in the early years, we worked under non-disclosure agreements.
- We received our first book order in 2011.
- We were the first in Ukraine to publicly offer writing services to book authors in 2012 on our old website, www.pr-kniga.com, which is now available only in the web archive.
- We were the first in Ukraine to transition to open collaboration with authors, so we have the largest public portfolio.
What does "open collaboration" mean? Simply that authors credit us in their books as their assistants.
We consider the details of our work on the books and our communication with the authors to be our clients' confidential information, and we do not share it publicly.
Approach
- We create unique book concepts. There’s no point in writing a book that’s like many others. We find a way to make your book stand out as we gather, conceptualize, and edit your material.
- We always fact-check. We verify terms, facts, quotes, dates, and popular interpretations of ideas and theories using original sources, dictionaries, and reference materials.
- "Form follows function." We don’t just throw different ideas and stories under one title. We focus on creating a cohesive text with a structure that best suits it.
- The final say is yours. If we disagree with your decisions about the book’s content, we’ll suggest changes and explain why, but you’re the author, so the final decision is yours.
- We write a book proposal. As we work on the book, we address all the questions a publisher might have about its commercial appeal, including what makes it unique and why it's relevant. As a bonus, we can prepare a book proposal for you.
Website
We only state what we can prove, which is why we created this website with links that verify our business experience from 2007-2008 and our book-writing experience since 2011. Our portfolio includes only those books in which our names are mentioned, as shown on the photographed pages. We hope that the ability to back up words with evidence will become the norm and elevate the quality of writing services.
